Meet The Director
VALARIE GOFF
Valarie is a proud Texas native and graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies. It is there that she felt the call from God to pursue missions. After graduating, God led her to Las Vegas to work with an anti-trafficking organization where she had the opportunity to reach out to women in the adult entertainment industry. Now, Valarie is the Director in Houston for Reckon. Valarie desires to see women rescued from a life of bondage and restored through life with Jesus. She loves chips and salsa, Krav Maga, traveling, and spending time with family and close friends.

OUR MODEL
Inform
We raise awareness by visiting churches, speaking at events, and hosting training.
We share statistics, testimonials, and successful strategies for engaging and connecting to victims and industry workers.
Intervene
Our intervention includes outreach and relationship building with people who are in the adult entertainment industry such as strip clubs and illegal brothels. After connecting with them through conversation and prayer, we provide immediate resources such as gift bags and contact information.
If they would like further assistance, we provide long-term discipleship and guidance which include emotional and spiritual support, medical care options, residential resources, and safe houses.
Transform
We desire to see people delivered and their lives transformed through Christ. This renewal of the person comes about as we follow through with after-care for the persons who exit or are exiting the industry. Discipleship is a key component of what we do. In the future, we will begin life skills training and job skills training.​
The Purpose
CONNECT. SERVE. LOVE.
Our purpose is to reach women that have been broken by life; women that have been lied to by the enemy, Satan, and the world. Women that have spent so much time desiring to be loved and looking for hope in places and people that offer only temporary relief and joy. Simply put, our purpose is to connect with these women wherever they find themselves and show them the love of God by serving them.
