TRAINING AND SPEAKING
Training is a crucial component of what we do. We equip our team and potential team members for outreach with these ladies. We love to inform churches and train short-term mission teams all over the US.

Reaching women where they are is crucial, but having solid relationships is what really matters. We build those relationships by showing our care and concern for them when they experience difficulties. We also support them on their journey to a healthier and happier life once they decide to walk away from the industry. This is where discipleship comes in. Our regular Bible studies, devotionals, and follow-ups with these women are where the transformation is truly revealed.

Our local volunteers help assemble gifts, network with other non-profits, and assist in the logistics of our various events and activities throughout the year. If you live in the Houston area and would like to participate with our ministry, but not be directly involved in our outreaches, you should consider becoming a volunteer. Outreaches
Our team does outreach to clubs and illegal brothels. We go once a month to Houston and stop at numerous clubs to connect with the women between their shifts. Gift bags and genuine conversations are what we bring and we leave them with a prayer and the option to connect with us afterward.

GIFT BAGS

Gift bags are small bags filled with travel-sized toiletries that we give out to women we reach. Over the years they have been incredibly well received and much appreciated by the ladies we connect with. It is a small token to say we are thinking of you and we understand your needs are not only spiritual but practical.
On occasion, we host baby showers for ladies in the industry. We do this to provide support and to celebrate the new life coming into the world through them. We want them to know that life is precious, and their decision to keep their baby is good. We join in the joy of this new chapter in their life and offer resources to help them start on this leg of their journey with confidence and a sense of security.

THANKSGIVING
Every November, around the Thanksgiving season, we offer to bring a hot Thanksgiving meal to one or two clubs willing to allow us to feed and serve the ladies in this way. With the cooperation of local churches, we provide the turkey, the fixings, plates, silverware, and napkins. Our team serves plates and caters to the ladies while on their breaks. We share the love of Christ with them and remind them that we might be feeding their bellies, but God can feed and fill their soul!
CHRISTMAS
Galas
Christmas Galas are specifically curated for ladies in the industry and their babies! The purpose is to lavish the women with God’s love and introduce them to Jesus. We have the event catered, provide gifts for the women and their children, and invite a guest speaker to speak into their lives. We are so grateful that this has become a staple in Reckon, and we know it will continue for many more years to come!
